I was able to shave a good five shots off my routine score as of late, and the wonderful thing about it is that I changed nothing about my actual game but only my viewpoint towards the round. After tussling for a couple of months now scoring between 90 and 95 and hitting a serious plateau I was feeling seriously irritated as no matter what I tried to change about my game I simply could not go lower. I even believed learning golf was so challenging until I wanted to gave up.

Right after shooting a score similar to this for around the fifth time I was left thinking about the round and I realized something so simple but I had never came across the thought in the past, that I could basically manage the round to cut out the double bogies. It was the easiest thing and still I had never thought about it, the issue was that facing difficult shots around the course I would begin to imagine like Tiger Woods and strive to put the ball three feet away from the hole. That is the golf tips which I want to share here.

My idea was that if this worked well once out of ten it will look spectacular and that would make all the subsequent duffs worth it. Nevertheless now that I am tired of shooting nineties I made up my mind that all the Tiger shots would have to take a back seat and I am going to start playing wisely.

All I needed to do was put my ego back in the bag and planning a 10-15 meters putt for birdie, thereby the worst I can do is a bogey. If I had tried to play the flop shot I would have finished in the bunker, be blessed to get out within 15 meters of the hole and at most get a double leaving the whole ready to hit my next drive. Playing safe and maintaining my cool I would save at the least one shot or possibly two and leave the complete feeling average to good about playing the next hole. Whilst these conditions are certainly much tougher and difficult to score in, it is possible to hold your nerve and keep your score together. In many cases that is the mind set required!
