Why learn to speak Spanish? Well, it's the 3rd most-used language on earth and the 2nd most-used language within the USA. It's also widely spoken and understood in the European Union. And, for those who speak English, it's easy; there are many common roots of English and Spanish, quite a few common words.

Many people say, "I'd personally really like to learn to communicate in Spanish, but I don't have the time". Usually they are thinking of the traditional classroom way of learning languages which they experienced in high school. You probably know how that works. At a certain time you go to a certain place and sit there for an hour while a teacher talks to you on some aspect of the language.

But that's the OLD way! Now it's different. You can teach yourself Spanish! How? You go online, download a Spanish-learning course to your hard disk, then offload the audio lessons to your iPod, other portable audio device or make yourself a learning Spanish cd. You can then listen to and practice your lessons whenever you wish, anywhere you would like to! You have complete control of the time and place.

The best way to learn another language is the same way you learned English. You start with a few words, you work with them in conversation, for questions and answers. Gradually you go on to more complex ideas and learn how to understand and speak more and more. You don't need dreary hours of memorizing vocabulary and conjugating verbs. (You were probably in the 3rd to 5th grade and already spoke pretty good English before you even learned the word "vocabulary"! And you were in all probability in middle school or high school before you learned the term "conjugation".)

All you really need to learn Spanish is a good learn-Spanish interactive audio course and time to listen to it and practice. You can go slowly or rapidly, learn Spanish a little each time or go fast and learn Spanish like crazy! It is really all under your control, all depends on what YOU want to try and do...

We live in an ever shrinking multilingual world. Don't let the limitation of only speaking one language hold you back!

Machine translation is a recent technological improvement popularized when companies like Google, Microsoft, systrans and Babylon made it free and available. Although there are still a lot of improvements needed to make this form of translation comparable to human translation, machine translation is a very promising development.

With globalization, language barriers are bound to come up as people from various countries interact in more frequently. As a result numerous translation and interpretation companies have risen over the years offering services such as manual translations, contract translation, in-person interpretation etc.

There are actually a few things that you should consider in selecting a Spanish translation service for your language translation needs. It is not always about finding the cheapest service provider available.

When choosing a Spanish translator take time to look over the translator's credentials and choose someone with a proven track record. It is also best to ask the potential Spanish translator how long it would take for him to complete your project.
